Figure 1-Total Physicians and FP/GP per 100,000 Population

This line graph depicts a steady rise in total physicians over the past forty years (between 1960 and 2000) with approximately 275 practicing physicians per 100,000 people in 1998. The number of Family/General Practice physicians remained relatively constant during this timeframe with approximately 25 physicians per 100,000 people.
